About Verge

Verge Coaching & Consulting is on a mission to equip leaders, teams, and individuals to be their best selves and do their best work, through leadership & team development, burnout & resilience solutions, and organization effectiveness consulting.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with our clients and examine together the business, organizational, and human challenges to be met. We believe that “the wisdom is already in the room,” and it is our job to help organizations tap into and unleash that wisdom through a co-creation approach that leverages the unique skill sets of everyone involved.

While Verge was founded in 2019, our team of expert collaborators has decades of experience coaching leaders one-on-one, supporting leadership teams in their development and effectiveness, building resilience skills across business units, and facilitating cultural transformation for thousands of employees. When we work with you, our goal is sustainability of the changes we’ve created together. We directly support and challenge you to integrate these changes into “business as usual” so that the commitments you have made to your organization’s development will stick - well beyond the end of our engagement.

Testimonials

“I am so thankful to have engaged Verge to help our leadership team work together to re-establish trust with each other and drive for greater impact as a leadership team.

Elizabeth and Christy are excellent facilitators who skillfully led us through many needed and tough conversations and helped build individual and collective self-awareness of the impact we were having on each other and the team.

As a result, we were able to help our team gain stability during a challenging transitional period and feel set up for success to launch and drive a new DEI strategy.”

Diane Krieman, Director at Uber

“I was living in reaction-mode all the time; things at work were happening to me instead of me directing my path forward. I felt overwhelmed, tired and unmotivated. I needed a change, and although I’m usually an energetic go-getter, I struggled with how to make my situation better. I felt stuck.

Engaging with Christy helped me gain clarity on what I wanted and take back control.

Christy shines as a personal coach. She is an excellent listener and keenly articulated and reframed key concepts from our sessions that validated my feelings, uncovered reasons behind my choices and actions, and helped me appreciate the great things I already have. I felt heard and supported throughout the entire coaching journey which created a perfect setting for exploration.

There is no way I would have invested the time in myself had it not been for partnering with Christy and the level of accountability that relationship added. Her caring, outside perspective helped me move forward when I felt stuck. I highly recommend others make the investment in themselves and leverage Christy’s coaching expertise!”

Jen R., Corporate Communications Director

“Honestly, I never really knew what executive coaches did. I felt a little skeptical about the concept. And although I was secretly curious, I was hesitant to try it out. But I decided to give it a try, and I started sessions with Christy.

Almost instantly, I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders.

Christy has helped by identifying roadblocks, making poignant observations, and providing candid recommendations. It’s therapy for your work life.

If you’ve ever been intrigued by the idea of working with a coach, I’d highly recommend it!
PS- Thank you, Christy for all the support! I seriously can't thank you enough!”

Nicole Weldon, Commercial Real Estate SVP

“Over the years, Christy has been a tremendous resource to me and our team on such topics as our annual strategic planning meetings, leadership development, change management, and navigating through personal adversity and anxiety from COVID.

I have picked her brain on how to motivate our team, lead through our many changes, and recognize and reward others for their accomplishments.  She has provided great resources and worked with our leadership team on many projects throughout the years. Through all those interactions, she has developed a great understanding of our company and our culture, and I have gained a great appreciation and admiration for her smart, personal, and relatable approach to leadership and cultural development.”
